What is Vinyl Wrap?

There is a big difference between a Vinyl Wrap and Cut Vinyl Graphics

Printed vinyl wrap is a specialist media, a cast vinyl than can be manipulated to cover a vehicle with a printed design (or a solid colour).

Printed vinyl wraps can be full multi-colour designs or printed backgrounds with text and logos fitted over the top.

Cut vinyl graphics can be manufactured from calendared vinyl's, which are not as easily manipulated to go round 3D shapes but generally have a longer life span and are less costly to produce graphics from, used for Sports Stripes simple logos and text.

Basically a vinyl wrap, wraps around bodywork with a full colour or printed design and protects the bodywork underneath.

A full body wrap can take days to complete correctly, and involves many processes, including deeper cleaning, use of chemicals, specialist tapes and cutting tools and costly materials, which is why the cost is far greater than cut vinyl signwriting.

For wing mirror wraps, roof or bonnet wraps we need a few hours.

Printed wraps are fitted with a second clear layer of vinyl to protect the print, called a Vinyl Laminate.
